Today, there are more young people (ages 10-24) than ever before. The 1.8 Billion Young People for Change campaign aims to support adolescents and youth to reach their potential by advocating for better policies and investments addressing their needs.

Mobilizing support for the Global Forum for Adolescents in Egypt.

An article published in the Al Gomhoreiyah Newspaper announced the Global Forum for Adolescents and highlighted the historical role young people have played in Egypt, "Adolescents are today, tomorrow and after tomorrow." Currently 80 million young people (aged 10-19) live in Egypt.

Empowering the voices of young people in Kenya through sport

OAY in partnership with the Kisumu County Sports association is hosting a two day football competition to further encourage young people to speak up for what they want for their well-being. This is an ingenious approach! incorporating the power of sports into the "What Young People Want" initiative. With activities like this, we are not only amplifying youth voices but also promoting their active participation through activities that resonate with them.
